Mt Margaret
Mt Margaret struck me as a memorial to the loss experienced in 1980 when Mt St Helen's erupted, spewing ash and gas, disintegrating living creatures and people in it's path and destroying so much of the landscape. Now 33 years later, the mountains are beautiful with new growth. The still standing remains of trees who witnessed the volcanic eruption are a beautiful reminder of the strength of nature and the ability to stand through tragedy; the new growth, a majestic frame for these natural monuments.
